FIRST  - I'm a big fan of the Mr. Frank Sinatra. His music Contributions and Achievements.
It's still all beyond beautiful.   The More I learn about about him, The More I admire his music contributions.

SECOND   -   I would like to personally thank and recognize Mr. Frank Sinatra's entire family for their extraordinary
generosity, contributions and their continued donations of their personal time to our small City of Hoboken, NJ -
Frank, Dolly and Martin Sinatra's Hometown.  It is with great honor, respect and privilege that I strive to celebrate the
music legacy and history of their family's lives and the vast contributions of their life's work.   Thank You.  

Over the past year, I had the privilege of singing to many great dancing and live music concert audiences - 
Well over a Million people   with the largest audience of over 40,000+   (Wow!) -  
All Singing along,  word by word, to our favorite Frank Sinatra Music Rat Pack songs. 
It's a very beautiful thing  to see so many couples in the audiences singing, dancing, smiling, having fun and
celebrating our music .... Together.  All embracing the magic of the music in the American Songbook.  
I am grateful for it all.

We Know - There was Only One, Mr. Frank Sinatra, Our American Original  and Our Hero.  We pay Homage to him.
Our Hometown American Success story of Achievement.   We cherish his  60+ Year Career of making great music. 

Here - Yes, we would all very much like him back.    His Worldwide Music Legacy endures. 
He has left us a Beautiful Music Legacy to Celebrate his great Contributions to the American Songbook.

Many audience members keep asking me  - Why and How Do you Sound and Sing so much like Mr. Sinatra? 
Wow, that's very humbling and also very kind.  Thank You. 

To respectfully answer you all - Sorry, but I don't know, I wish I could tell you.  It might be a hometown neighborhood thing.  

I would offer to share a couple things from of my personal background that might account for a little bit of this  -

First  - My family grandparents and Aunt grew up in the very same Hoboken NJ tenement house building with
Mr. Frank Sinatra and his parents, Dolly and Martin Sinatra.  415 Monroe St  Hoboken, New Jersey's 
(then 1915) Little Italy - Piccolo Italia - Hoboken's  "Downtown"  Neighborhood. 
They all lived there for 14 years together in a Cold water tenement. 

When the Sinatra's moved to Garden St, it was next door to my Uncle.  He was close to Frank's Parents Too.

Mama Dolly Sinatra, Frank's mom,  was godmother to both my grandmother  and uncle.  So I would guess our family's may share
a few things in common  - Perhaps a neighborhood, tone, vocabulary, or Hoboken dialect that was shared among the families.

My Grandparents lived and raised their Family in the same house where the Frank Sinatra Music was Born and Where it all Started. 

Second  -  Mr. Frank Sinatra's lyrical phrasing  delivery has a very positive forthright integrity and character.  Hoboken, where our families
grew up, was a tough maritime industrial factory city.  Maybe such lyrical integrity delivery can only be forged in the fires of such a city.  
No doubt, it takes a very Tough, Tenacious, Rough and Committed integral character to deliver such tender poetry in his lyrics. 
Without appreciating rough tough situations and difficulties in our lives, How can any of us truly appreciate life's great things,
and in turn share the poetic beauty and delicate verse of the American Songs book's many contributors.  Some might say
our family's share a similar experience of verbal delivery  -  A kind of  -  Say What Ya Mean, Mean What Ya Say, approach.
Some of these might account for some similar familiar lyrical delivery, presentation and vocal sound.   

I just hope my Tribute Singing Homage helps an audience members reminisce a bit to enjoy the music in a great
celebration of Mr. Frank Sinatra's tremendous music legacy, life, and contribution to us.

I'd welcome an opportunity to celebrate the SINATRA Music Legacy, together.

My Tribute Singing Crooning and the International Frank Sinatra IDOL Vocalist Competition

"I'm just a guy from the Neighborhood who has a healthy admiration for Mr. Frank Sinatra's music.  SO

It is an extraordinary privilege to receive any award recognition for my singing. Winning the coveted, 
International FRANK SINATRA IDOL Vocalist Competition Championship on National Network Television is a dream. 

I am truly honored.   I can't believe I won.   It's all very humbling, when I think about Mr Sinatra's great legacy to us.

It was just a great privilege and honor to sing tribute & homage to Mr. Francis Albert Sinatra,  especially
in his hometown of Hoboken, NJ.    All in Sinatra Park, the Hudson River waterside park named
for him, which  overlooks the beautiful Manhattan Skyline at dusk with a Summer Wind.  

I just tried to share some music with the large audience crowd in order to  pay homage and tribute to Mr. Sinatra's traditions
and his numerous innovative music contributions to the American songbook, which are absolutely beyond incredible.

Frank Sinatra music arrangements of the American songbook broke the mold and set a new standard for those songs.

It seems like a dream to be sharing Sinatra music nationally on TV with an audience of Mr. Sinatra's most devoted fans
from his own hometown, Hoboken, New Jersey.   Some audience members are Sinatra's cousins, others knew him 
when he grew up in town and still others  worked with his parents, Dolly and Martin Sinatra.  The Judges were tough.
They all knew the entire Frank Sinatra catalog, song, phrase, word,  lyric and every note of each Sinatra song sung.  Whew!

 I only knew that their performance challenge and criteria would be the very highest standards to try to meet.

As I completed presenting my song of homage and tribute to Mr. Sinatra and his devoted fans, the audience erupted. 
Then suddenly, I'm getting their votes of confidence, praise, cheers, applause, a Winner Championship Trophy 
 and all of it on national network television.  

I know Sinatra music is magic, but this moment is all just unbelievable.  

Wow!   What a Dream!   The entire event is just a little bit of Heaven."  

MY MUSIC SOUL  

Singing is very far from where I started in music, as DJ MC Spinatra in New York, New York NYC,
moving audiences on  huge multi-level Manhattan dance floors.  It's great to see audiences kicking back, dancing,
smiling and cutting loose.  For the audiences the music and dancing was just a beautiful release and escape from
all their demanding jobs. 

It is just great to see audience embracing the magic of the music and dancing. Those moments are always great reward for me.

Today when my Audiences for my singing of American Songbook Jazz, Tribute Frank Sinatra music and Rat Pack songs
want to get dancing,   My Rhythm Section Kicks in and  WE SWING IT  with great big band orchestra up-tempo numbers. 
So, get your dancing shoes on. 

American Songbook, Jazz, Opera, the Symphony, Concerto, Mandolin, Fiddle and Flute music are my family's 
heritage, traditions and roots, but I also grew up on Solid Rock, Motown, Disco, House, Club and Pop Hit Music.  

Entertaining as a Vocalist and Frank Sinatra Tribute Rat Pack singer has been great and quite a change for me  
Yet, it draws on much of my Manhattan Dance Club DJ Spinatra and music entertainment experience.

Living and entertaining in New York, NY for many years, the sounds of the city are as diverse as its pace and citizens, 
but it weaves into the fabric of your music soul to drive your rhythms and heart all through the night - All Night.   

NYC audiences challenge your creative craft and drive you to deliver maximum performance quality. 
It's a great creative  music tuning ground, but the love for diverse music requests keeps you grounded and
dedicated to your art,  craftsmanship and performance.

For my audiences, I always strive to share compelling  music and performance quality.   It's the very least I
can do to pay them for all their respect, support and love.
 

 THE  SINATRAS   AND  MY FAMILY   

My family immigrated to the USA at the turn of the century from Italian coastal fishing and shipping cities on the
Eastern and Western sides of Southern Italy and Ireland.    All have very diverse and deep music traditions and cultures.

While immigrating through America's Gateway, Ellis Island, my family found one of the popular Industrial Factory Cities
to find shipping jobs and factory work was Hoboken, NJ.   The City of Hoboken is just a mile square city and on the
Hudson River coastal waters over looking the New York, NY buildings and skyline. 

The City of Hoboken, New Jersey was a great maritime shipping - passenger cruise port and had lots of industry,
factory and shipping jobs.  It was a 24/7 City as factories and workers operated three shifts a day.  For course
it had Saloons, Bars and Restaurants also open 24/7 to accommodate all the workers after they got off their jobs. 
Over 450 Bar licenses in a mile square City of Hoboken, New Jersey.  At the many Saloons for entertainment before
phonographs (record players) and jukeboxes got here or even affordable for neighbors, they had Pianos and Singers. 
They had Kids sing songs at the Saloons for pennies or food or candy, especially if your family was lucky enough
to own a Saloon, much like Mr. Frank Sinatra.   Sure, the neighborhood was tough, but it built character. 

Hoboken still has a small town neighborhood feel.  It even had a Little Italy neighborhood, so Italian immigrant
families could keep close to their great traditions and church, even if they had a lot of struggles.

My grandmother, Josephine, born in 1910, was born in and grew up at 415 Monroe Street in Hoboken's Little Italy. 
The modest building had eight, small cold water flat apartments.  My grandmother's godmother, Dolly Sinatra, and
her husband, Marty Sinatra, lived in the very same building for 14 years and raised a family with one son, Francis Albert.
I'm sure no one in the building could have ever imagined that Godmother Dolly Sinatra's young son, Frank would ever
go on to redefine American music history.  All from these very humble Italian Immigrant Hoboken family beginnings.
 
My Uncle Jerome also happened to be a godchild of  Dolly Sinatra.  Momma Dolly Sinatra ran the Frank Sinatra Fan Club
for the early years of her son's singing career.  She answered  lots of fan mail and she seemed to be a favorite cook for
many of the musicians and bands that her son practiced with in NYC.   It seemed her godson, Jerome (Uncle Jerome to me),
had very good  penmanship (very important to respond to fan's requests for autographed pictures).  Jerome also seemed
to be able to carry many of Momma Dolly's Italian specialty meals to those NYC music studios for the bands and
Frank's musician friends.   Apparently trays of sausage and peppers sandwiches was the big band musicians' favorite treat. 
Hey, you can't make great music when you're hungry!    
  
Many Hoboken families wish the Sinatras never moved from Hoboken or went to the West Coast. 
You have to ask, would Frank Sinatra's music have ever grown to all of its fullest, historical, international dominance
from here on the East Coast?   It's just all so amazing. 
  
During his 60-year music career, Frank Sinatra's music touched the lives of so many of our family members.  
 
Each day the very least we can do is to pay homage and tribute to Frank Sinatra and his music innovations.

Francis Albert Sinatra   set a new world standard on so many of the
arrangements for American Songbook favorites. 

Audiences today still want and like to hear those favorite songs delivered with those arrangements and Sinatra style
that Frank made so popular .  He redefined so many of those American Songbook Classics forever.

It's easy to understand how so many international music critics have repeatedly rated
Frank Sinatra "The Best Singer Ever" - Period.  

No other vocalist in history has sung, swung, crooned and serenaded into the hearts of the young and old... as 
Frank Sinatra, the consummate artist from Hoboken, NJ.  

He is still appreciated by family members of all ages. 

Mr. Sinatra was our very first world Multi-Media SuperStar -  Radio, Records, Concerts, Films, Stages and Stadiums. 

The Conductors, Chart Arrangers and Philharmonic Symphony Orchestras  that he performed with are still
today  on the musicians' world class performers list.   

So, it is our greatest honor to pay homage to Mr. Frank Sinatra and his extraordinary contributions.

SPINATRA ALL NIGHT

As  DJ MC SPINATRA for over 10 years, I've been mixing and spinning in the NYC DJ booths
all over Manhattan.  I've performed at the trendiest velvet rope night clubs and venues, for the chic, all around town.  
There was Million Dollar sound systems, thumping bass, robotic lighting, and Manhattan dance crowd audiences of over 10,000. 
I've even spun at Webster Hall, LimeLight, Copacabana, Hammerstein, El Morocco, Latin Quarter, Javits and re-opened fabled Studio 54.

Spinning many music groove formats with diverse international audiences and instrumental orchestrations,
I was tucked away beyond the packed dance floor audiences, staging, curtains and bass bins, compelling the audience's 
release to groove freedom and some fun.  Orchestrating the Magic of the Music shielded in DJ Booths, 
I've run all the Sound ProAudio and Lighting Systems from behind the scenes and curtains. 

As  DJ MC SPINATRA - I always mixed spun music to reveal the moments of emotion for all my dance floor
audiences, to help all capture an evening of escape, desire, dreams, and satisfy hunger of their inner music soul.
I'd be sharing the magic of the music to compel joy and introspection -  Just the pure fun - All Night

Today in vocal concert performances, with Renaissance American Songbook,  I strive to share the same compelling
feeling and emotion for my audiences. The fabric of music magic of the American Songbook helps me share that.

Frank Sinatra is still today a great champion of the American songbook and its many contributors, including: 
Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Bart Howard, who all wove
extraordinary beauty into their lyrics.

Studying and looking deeper into their lyrics and verse, you have to ask yourself  - 
Are the lyricists talking about me?     It sure sounds like they are.
The lyrics of the American Songbook are the very soundtrack of all of our lives - 
    Our Desires, our Hunger, our Struggles and even our Dreams. 

Sinatra was incredible at his great music art, never compromising quality of his music with his audiences. 

The term "crooning" doesn't really capture it all. 

Combining all entertainment aspects, I've strived to deliver quality performances that are compelling for
many audiences and events this past season.

When selecting entertainment, why just have basic music?   When you can have great live music performers 
maximizing entertainment for all your guests.  I'd look forward to sharing some great music with you.

Ballads and Serenades

It's great to get a dance floor swinging for an audience with up-tempo Swing.  

But the romantic soft ballads and serenades of the American songbook are the soundtrack of
love in our lives. 
Early in his career, Frank Sinatra was best known for delivering his art of intimate vocals in these songs. 

I get many singing requests from couples who love to dance to these romantic soft ballads and serenades.  

Now as a vocalist, in sharing these softer intimate songs, I offer to those dancers some mood vocals
that I hope are compelling.     

While I deliver these romantic soft ballads and serenades, I'm one-on-one with you, the audience. 
I have been sharing all the intimacy in the great poetry within each slow song.  I find the charm of
these beautiful lyrics and verses almost hypnotizing.  They just leave me emotionally vulnerable -
raw, bare, exposed for an audience.  The lyrics evoke so many feelings of our lives.   
In sharing these songs, baring my soul to an audience has not been easy. 

I'm out in front of a stage now. I have no more DJ booth or curtain to work behind to shield me from
my audiences.  The only protection is the cover of all the beauty in the poetic lyrics and there love.  
Up on stage,  I have to wrap myself in that poetic protectiveness offered by the lyrics,
so I can better share with you and audience members the love and emotion of these lyrics. 

Previously, could I have been emotionally prepared to understand, feel and share such intimate lyrics?  

Who's to say?   I would like to think so.  

Maybe that's what makes each individual live concert unique. 

Maybe that's what makes the love of the music of our souls so very special. 

I hope to share some of these great experiences of the beauty in music with you soon.
